Midwest Office Based in Chicago, the Midwest Office of MacRostie Historic Advisors provides strategic historic preservation consulting services to clients throughout the Midwest and offers particular expertise in the tax benefit certification of commercial properties. The office is a joint venture with Susan Baldwin Burian of Baldwin Historic Properties, a well-known and respected consultant in the certification of large-scale historic rehabilitations in the Chicago market for many years. The office is headed by Allen Johnson who has over twenty years experience in assisting developers, property owners, municipalities, and institutions to meet historic preservation compliance requirements and obtain preservation tax incentives.
